Program o' the Week?

And now for something Completely Different! Just to keep you on your overmanicured toes, here's a teensy tinesy random graphics application, Art-O-Mat. Sorry all you Wintel slaves, this is for Mac only! Oh, and sorry all you OS X slaves, this is for Mac only!. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!

Okay, now that I've alienated about 99% of my readers, lemme hasten to add that this is really just a toy I strung together with chickenwire and duct tape in Think Pascal back in 1996 when I first got an RGB monitor and wanted to see what "thousands of colors" really meant. I imagine it might run in the Classic environment under OS X, and it does indeed run on Sandahbeth's iMac under OS 9.0.4. And apart from the faded edges, that's a real screenshot from the program up there.

And hey, back in the '50's when IBM first started hiring programmers, one of the fields they recruited from was composers. So maybe this is a song after all...
